Since the Middle Ages the daisy is mentioned as a medicinal plant and it is highlighted in particular the blood-purifying effect. Over the years, however, the healing power is more and more forgotten, and in the naturopathic books you are looking mostly in vain. Popularly daisies also Tausendschön or Mairöserl called. The daisy has many names and these are different from region to region.

Daisy tea:

Ingredients 2 tsp fresh or 1 teaspoon dried daisy flowers that you pour over 250ml boiling water, then let steep 10 minutes and sieve. Culinary uses:

Application with the healing power of this plant:

The daisy is used internally and externally in naturopathy. In the form of baths, washes or envelopes finds Daisy tea, fresh pressed juice from the leaves or the diluted tincture use in promoting wound healing and in rheumatic or injury-related pain in the limbs. The tincture helps externally against sprains and contusions.

Of course, this does not replace the daisy possibly necessary way to the doctor.
